Make Your Own Kokedama

Kokedama (苔玉, in English, literally “moss ball”) is a planting style with the roots of the plant being balled together.

The idea has its origins in Japan, where it is a combination of the nearai 根洗い bonsai and kusamono planting styles.
Very popular in Japanese gardens. It can be displayed as the centerpiece on coffee table or hanging them in the balcony.

Come and join us for a fun filled afternoon learning and making the art of Kokedama.

During this session you will:
Participants will learn the technique of putting suitable soil, and craft them into ball of moss.
Learn the tips and tricks in maintaining your Kokedama!
Get to Bring home your finished Kokedama home.
