Join us for the Easter edition of The “Family that Farms Together” Tour, our flagship Citizen Farm Talk & Tour with a family-friendly twist.
Take a multi-sensory interactive walk around our farm with our farmers, as they share their journey to becoming an urban farmer, and anecdotes of a lesser-trodden path. Learn about the closed-loop and minimal-waste model of growing vegetables that we adopt here in our urban farm, and how farming could be used as a platform to create a more inclusive society.
Experience being a farmer for a day; feed our free-ranging chickens Sarah, Chris and Darren (named after our farmers!). Smell, taste and touch the edible plants that we grow, and understand the importance of using sustainable, pesticide-free farming methods.
In the spirit of Easter, learn how to make a biodegradable planter out of an egg shell. Create your mini egg planter, and seed a plant of your choice!
Participants will also take home a complimentary set of microgreens seed kit (worth $15)!
Tickets are required for all attendees above the age of 4. Each accompanying parent can bring 1 child aged below 4 for free.
