Warriors’ Holiday Camp – Dec Edition

Our popular holiday camp for young warriors aged 6-12 is back! Let your kids disconnect for a day and allow nature to inspire them to get both knowledgeable and creative. Highlights include an educational and immersive farm tour, paddy planting, signature outdoor cooking in paradise, art with nature, and kampung play! It’s all about trying new things – time to unplug and enjoy!

Itinerary:
9.00AM – Arrival and registration (Kids should have breakfast beforehand)
9.30AM – Briefing, introduction and ice-breakers!
10.00AM – Guided Farm Tour and Foraging
10.45AM – Outdoor Cooking in Paradise
12.00PM – Lunch
1.00PM – Art with Nature
3.00PM – Afternoon tea
3.30PM – Paddy Planting
4.00PM – Kampung Play
4.45PM – Reflections and closing
5.00PM – Departure

FAQs for Nervous Parents

What is the age requirement to participate in the event?
The camp is open to all kids aged 6 to 12 years old.

Will my child be sleeping at the camp?
No, this is a day camp which starts at 9am and ends at 5pm.

Can I be with my child during the activities?
The point of the camp is to get kids to learn how to be confident and independent and to foster leadership and team working skills, so as much as possible let’s give your child an opportunity to gain a healthy sense of self-direction.

Can I wait for my child while s/he is at camp?
Of course. Bring a nice book to read and chill out at our bistro. Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is nearby if you’re feeling adventurous.

What are my public transport options for getting to and from the event if I don’t drive?
From Kranji MRT take the Kranji Countryside Express bus (round trip $3/adult, $1/child or senior citizen). The first bus leaves Kranji MRT Berth 3 at 8.30AM sharp.

What should my child bring to the camp?
Hat, insect repellent, water bottle, covered shoes, small towel, slippers, sunblock, and a change of clothes. All materials required for the activities will be provided. Lunch and refreshments meals will be provided for all campers and if you/your child would like to purchase additional food/items please bring cash.

Is food provided?
Yes, lunch and an afternoon snack. If your child has dietary restrictions, email us to inform us at [email protected]
