Bayfront Farmer’s Christmas Market

The 2nd farmer’s market at Gardens by the Bay would be held at the Bayfront Pop-up Market at the SG50 Lattice next to the newest attraction Floral Fantasy.

It is a collaborative effort by local Social Service Organisation Teen Challenge, local start-up Glife, Airzone Singapore and the organisers of the Bayfront Pop-up Market, TGIF Bazaars.

Glife is one of Southeast Asia’s leading farm to table technological start-up. Their Mission is to provide more affordable, fresher, wholesome, nutritious, and safe products to their customers. By empowering farmers with better knowledge and equipping them with technological applications. Through the use of big data, supply and demand conditions can be stabilised – this means that consumers would not need to pay inflated prices for produce during peak seasons. Food waste can be minimised too.

In this partnership with Teen Challenge, Glife provides employment and training opportunities for their beneficiaries. Part of their proceeds will also be donated to fund Teen Challenge’s programmes.

Teen Challenge (Singapore) is a member of the National Council of Social Service and also a registered Charity and Institution of Public Character since 1994. Being a non-profit voluntary welfare organisation, they are largely dependent on the goodwill of friends, supporters and donors for the continual provision of their operating costs.

Teen Challenge Singapore is a Care & Recovery Centre that provides rehabilitation for alcohol and drug abusers and individuals with addiction issues.

They offer quality therapeutic programmes for rehabilitation and recovery. They seek to help and empower recovering individuals to develop positive habits as they chart their courses for reconciliation with their families and reintegration to the community.

TGIF Bazaars is the organiser of Singapore’s most regular weekend socially driven marketplace, the Bayfront Pop-up Market at Gardens by the Bay. An independent, self-funded small business with a core team of 3 partners, we are happy to be part of the ecosystem to help create social good.

All are welcome to participate or visit!
