Greening Our Community

The Green movement has been gaining some serious traction. From efforts to reduce the use of plastic bags, to the rising popularity of plant-based diets, more Singaporeans are starting to care about the environment. However, while individual effort and personal change are crucial, it will NOT be enough to avert the worst of climate change. As they say in Africa, if you want to go fast, go alone. But if you want to go far, go together.

How can we go green as a community? What must we do to encourage our family and friends to be more conscious of their decisions, actions and lifestyle? Come join us on 20th February as we discuss and debate on the topic of greening our community. Wholesome, healthy and delicious dinner will be provided and if you’re up for it, you can even do an impromptu speech to share your thoughts and experience.

Please feel free to bring guests along or invite friends you know. There will be a small fee for guests to cover dinner (delicious and sustainably made). Payment is $12 for guests and $5 for students if made online, if not payment on arrival will be $15 for adults and $8 for students. Please register if you are planning to join us. For any enquires, find us on our website, Facebook group or email us at [email protected]
