School Break Macaroons

These raw coconut macaroons are sweet, tasty, all-natural. Made with raw coconut oil, healthy fat, keeping the refined sugar cravings at bay and preventing kids get that high energy sugar rush.

Coconut macaroons are not to be confused with macarons, these are different. This snack is easy to make and your kids will love spending time with you creating something healthy.

Simple five/six ingredients in a bowl – use a tablespoon to measure each cookie and push it into your silicone mould or roll them and flatten them out. 

No baking, just pop them in the fridge for 20 minutes and you’ve got some no-bake cookies.

With the Kids Good Stuff you can make all sorts of variations based on the flavour.

INGREDIENTS:

1 Cup of shredded coconut 

1/2 Cup of almond flour

1 Tablespoon of macadamia nut butter

5 Tablespoons of coconut oil

Pinch of sea salt

3 Tablespoons of Yacon syrup (LOW GI)

1 Serving of Nuzest Kids Good stuff Vanilla Caramel

or opt for Chocolate Kids Good Stuff, or make two batches.

For the DRIZZLE:

1/2 Cup of melted cocoa butter

1 Tablespoon of Kids Good STUFF Strawberry

1 Tablespoon of Yacon Syrup

1/2 Teaspoon of strawberry powder (freeze-dried strawberries grinder)

Mix the above until smooth, once cookies have set for 15min, take out of the freezer and drizzle your (strawberry chocolate) drizzle on top.

Freeze for another 5 min before serving.

Keep in the fridge for 1.5 weeks.
