For the first time in Singapore, City Sprouts offers an urban farming experience where families, schools and communities can reconnect with nature and engage in the growing process from beginning to end. At the end of the season, they can join in on the harvesting process and get access to a stable source of fresh, pesticide-free local produce. What is more, we collaborate with GWS Living Art to curate a series of interactive knowledge-sharing workshops, enrichment classes and community events that complement this farming experience. We started from terrarium and now includes pesto making as well as nursery tours at our nursery in Old Choa Chu Kang Road. Our workshops are tailored for our clientele who ranges from the public, schools, corporates and wedding. Our corporate class includes a team bonding game and a terrarium to place at your desk. We are a small young team and started because of our passion for green and people – after all, aren’t we all part of Mother Nature?

More than 35 homegrown eco brands have teamed up to launch a multi-brand concept collective on the first floor of KINEX. Visitors can look forward to shopping from a range of sustainable, eco and socially conscious products and participate in regular workshops ranging from making soaps, DIY lip balm and upcycling.

The Social Space is a socially conscious multi-concept store, featuring a Tea Bar & Café, a fair trade retail area and a nail salon, all promoting greater awareness for sustainability, an appreciation for providence, and more accessible conscious living. The mission of The Social Space is also to provide a platform for individuals who face a higher barrier to employment opportunities due to circumstances beyond their control, and equip them with varied skills sets that will allow them self-sufficiency in the long term.

The Social Space hopes to encourage its community to be more socially conscious in their daily lives by walking the talk. From the choice of product we use and sell to the services, we offer, down to the people we hire, The Social Space aspires to dispel the perception that social enterprises offer sub-standard products and services.
