DIY Skincare with Kids: Bath Salt

Kids love DIY and there’s nothing better than creating something easy that won’t just make themselves or a family member happy but is also great for the planet (and your wallet!)

In our DIY Skincare with kids series, we give you recipes in 4 easy steps that can be made with accessible products that are both good for you and that will teach your kids the insights to the wonders of natural skincare at an early age.

Today – a quick one for relaxing – bath salt!

Get out a mason jar , salt, dried herbs and essential oils.

1. Start with 5 tsp of crystal salt – add to the mason jar

2. Mix in 1 tsp. of dried herbs of your choice – we chose rose petals.

3. Now it’s time for the scent – choose an essential oil and drop in 7 drops to the mix

4. Now, shake the salt!
