Charissa’s Keto Carrot Cake Smoothie

INGREDIENTS
* 1 Large organic carrot chopped
* 1 Cup frozen zucchini chopped
* 1/2 Cup coconut cream ** see note
* 1/2 Cup Fresh Coconut water
* 1 Cup fresh coconut flesh
* 1 Tablespoon Tiger nut meal or flaxseed meal
* 1 Tablespoon Hulled Tahini
* 2 Servings Vanilla Protein @nuzest or for kids version use Good Green Stuff Choc Honeycomb flavour
* 1/3 Teaspoon Cinnamon
* Pinch of nutmeg
* 1 Cup Ice
* 1 Tablespoon Yacon syrup for Low sugar version or 2 Medjool dates

INSTRUCTIONS
Blend all in your blender until smooth.

Once blended you can sprinkle some more tiger nut meal or pecan nuts.

**Keep coconut cream in the fridge for at least 1 hour or more prior in making your smoothie, the cold fridge makes the cream become a lot firmer in texture

As a personal health guide, I aim to inspire a healthier lifestyle through good choices when it comes to finding alternatives to more wholesome foods, my recipes create an overall concept of clean eating in a unique way, adding more whole foods and superfoods into your lifestyle will naturally crowd out those high sugar, processed foods that our bodies don’t need. My aim is to share healthy alternatives and how to simply add these into your lifestyle in your own unique way, its finding what works for you. My experience in the health and wellness side started years ago, I have always been passionate about living an active healthy lifestyle, hence why I feel the need to share with others, health can be accessible, easy & convenient, it’s just finding what works for you.
